I started weight training at the gym again, any tips on .routines?

Saturday, December 5th, 2009ok.. im only 17 yrs old, im male, 63 kilos and 173cm tall. im pretty skinny. i used to be overweight (75 kg) but i lost the weight and now im 63 kilos. as i said, im skinny, but i have alot of body fat; not much muscle. i have been doing weights for a little while, about 2 months, slowly im seein results in my arms, not as much shoulders, a little in the chest (only when i tense i can feel the chest muscle) and a little in the abs. what would you recommend for me? workout changes? anything with core workouts?

What are some basic weight training tips?
Monday, November 30th, 2009I just started to work out-joined a gym-it got too lonely and cold to keep running outside. I have found that I really like it. I have been going 5 days a week and either running or using the elliptical trainer for an hour each time.
I have been intimidated to add weights-I have no idea what i am doing. I ask if some one could give me workout outline at the gym but they insisted that I needed to spend 1500 on personal trainer. -that’s 24 hours fitness. I am not doing that. I
I have some experience with weights but i have forgotten a bunch. Is the basic idea weights 3-4 times a week 2 muscle groups each session? Each muscle group get 2 different exercises?
Cardio help and little weight training tips?
Thursday, November 26th, 2009I start Rugby in just over a month, and I am not ready at all. I tore my PCL(knee) and pretty much everything in my shoulder last year. I got the AOK from my doctor to play, but I am so out of shape. I went for a half hour run and I found that hard to do. I was wondering if I can get some pointers on how I can greatly improve my cardio in about a month. I know it isn’t going to be amazing, but I would like to be able to sprint and run about 85% before I got hurt.
I’m 5’5 and 120 pounds, doctor says I have a 18% body fat( not that great right now, but also not bad) I am hitting the light weights so I can get nice and toned again, but I need my cardio back again. And If I don’t get help soon, It will get worse the more I lift weights.
So if I can get pointer on both weights and cardio.. I would be very grateful.
